Many of us find change, and the uncertainty it brings unsettling, but it’s a part of life. We can’t escape it or fight it. Instead, we need to embrace it, and that’s what Mads and Ellen are diving into in today’s episode. They share their personal experiences alongside insights from the cosmic and the corporate to help you navigate change with confidence.
Mads shares the concept of intuitive vision boarding which has a more fluid and cosmic approach than traditional vision boards. You don’t choose images directly linked to your goal, but the ones that resonate with you, which creates unexpected, meaningful manifestations. Mads shares how this practice has made her more appreciative of her current reality and less focused on striving for more.
Listener Question:
This week’s listener question comes from a 2/4 Projector who asks:
“My amazing leader has resigned. I'm feeling the effects of uncertainty, not knowing who will replace them and how I'll be affected. And while I'm trying not to catastrophise, I'm finding it quite distracting. What's your advice on navigating this?”
Ellen provides practical advice on how to configure working relationships with incoming leaders, including open communication about preferences and fostering self-trust amid uncertainty Mads expands on these ideas, drawing from human design. She stresses the value of recognising one's energy type and understanding how it influences work dynamics. By knowing oneself better, individuals can navigate new relationships and settings more effectively. Most importantly, both hosts suggest focusing on what can be controlled.
The sisters then share how embodying the concept of full certainty, trusting in one's instincts and capabilities, can be transformative. The anxiety that comes with change often stems from the sudden lack of certainty, if we can find that within ourselves it makes these transitions much smoother.
Key Takeaways:
Embrace your full certainty: Trust in your abilities and instincts to manage change and uncertainty. Recognise your potential and address self-doubt.
Trust in the Universe's plan: Setbacks and change can be difficult, but they often pave the way for growth and new opportunities.
Avoid Catastrophising: Mads advises recognising and addressing the worst-case scenarios as a way to deflate anxiety and regain control.
Ask The Cards:
From the Moonology Oracle deck, we drew the Void of Course Moon
Affirmation: Trust in your highest good

Do you ever have one of those days where no matter what you do, you just can't seem to get anything done?
Ellen and Mads tackle this issue in today’s episode of I’ll Ask My Sister, exploring the perils of procrastination and the effect your environment has on your productivity. As always, they start by reflecting on the past week and whether it had more cosmic or corporate energy. Mads’s week was primarily corporate and she shares how she has reframed her mindset around strategy. Ellen declares her week was neither cosmic nor corporate because she was on holiday overseas. From this, the conversation turns to motherhood and the lack of support many mums receive.
Listener Question:This week’s listener question comes from a 5:1 Generator who asks: Why can’t I get anything done today?
Mads shares a concept from human design that our physical and emotional environment has a huge impact on our productivity. Sometimes, just being in the wrong place for our personality type can hinder our performance. The ideal environment for the listener is the shore. These are places where multiple different ideas or cultures come together in a melting pot. Mads notes her own experience of decreased productivity when not in her ideal environment and urges listeners to find spaces that support their individual needs.
Ellen talks about the unrealistic expectation of constant productivity, and how it can be a huge challenge for actually being productive. We can't be productive all the time, and if we try to be it will backfire on us. Taking time to rest and improve personal well-being isn’t procrastination, it’s a crucial step to for maintaining productivity.
Key Takeaways:
Understand Your Environment: Using human design to identify ideal environments can significantly enhance productivity and well-being.
Procrastination: Before you can overcome inaction, you need self-awareness to be able to understand the root cause. Then you need to set realistic expectations for productivity and align your tasks with your natural energy patterns.
Take a moment to breathe: Everything else is a waste of time if you don’t give yourself time to rest. Understand your limits and recognise when you need to slow down instead of pushing through fatigue
Ask The Cards:
From the Moonology Oracle deck, we drew the Full Moon Eclipse card.
Affirmation: That which is meant for me will not pass me by.

Welcome back to the I’ll Ask My Sister podcast!
We have an exciting announcement for you! From this week, we will be moving to Fridays - but why the dramatic update? In response to some very cosmic feedback from listeners, Ellen and Mads found themselves reevaluating the need for the 4-6 week pre-recorded buffer, and in the process found themselves reflecting on the beauty of evolution, taking on feedback, and questioning the principles around 'just because it's always been done a certain way...' kind of thinking. In a nutshell, this led to the decision to pause recording in advance, to be able to share with you up-to-date episodes, recorded and published within the week.
We're excited to be in your ears again this Friday with a full episode, but for the moment, please enjoy this bonus with the girls chatting through their response to the shift.

Welcome back to another episode of the I’ll Ask My Sister podcast!
Today, Ellen and Mads are discussing career transitions, manifesting your true desires, and the importance of staying aligned with your true self. If you’re a Manifestor there’s a lot of goodness in this episode for you, but don’t worry if you’re not; there’s plenty of insights and advice to go around!
Early on in the episode, Ellen shares her recent experience with second-hand grief, as she supports a close friend through their loss. She shares how important it is to process these emotions instead of suppressing them. This takes Ellen and Mads to a broader discussion about how grief touches our personal and professional lives. Mads adds a human design perspective, emphasising the importance of understanding your emotional and splenic centres, which govern emotions and fear. Using this lens can help you recognise and work through these feelings.
Listener Question:This week's question comes from a 35-year-old Manifestor who has just left a 10+ year career. Now there are too many possibilities and she can’t decide what she wants to do for work! Here’s a snapshot of the advice Ellen and Mads provided:
First Mads outlines the essence of Manifestors, as a visionary energy type traditionally seen as leaders or rulers. They have the unique ability to speak things into existence, but they also experience peaks and troughs of energy. Mads believes that before making the next big move, it’s crucial to understand what motivates you. For Manifestors, this often revolves around resources and money. Recognising these motivations without shame can help clarify the next steps.
Ellen advises asking yourself what you'd do if no one knew or judged you, emphasizing the need to strip away others' expectations. She also provides practical advice on identifying transferable skills from previous roles. Often, skills we undervalue in our current roles can be highly transferable to new, exciting opportunities. She encourages asking trusted friends and colleagues for their perspectives on your CV.
Ask The Cards:
From the Moonology Oracle deck, we drew the Waxing Moon card.
Affirmation: Your Dream can come true, but more effort is yet required. Are you willing to give it and keep moving forward?

Welcome back to another episode of the I’ll Ask My Sister podcast where sisters Ellen and Mads discuss how to balance the cosmic and corporate in your life. This week they navigate personal challenges, workplace dynamics, and the connection between love and money. It’s full of cosmic wisdom, practical advice, and sisterly banter. So, listen in and enjoy!
Listener Question:How do you continue working in a niche slash dream job that fulfills your professional needs after a workplace romance with someone you still work closely with? Or is it time to move on from both for good?
Ellen and Mads provide compassionate, yet conflicting advice on whether to stay in a fulfilling job despite a recent breakup with a coworker.
Ellen suggests a methodical approach: understanding the importance of the job and weighing it against the emotional toll. Consider whether they would be more relieved if they left the workplace or if the ex did.
Mads, on the other hand, suggests that moving on might help break free from stagnant energy. She encourages the listener to reflect honestly on whether their dream job is fulfilling when marred by the complications of a past relationship.
Key Takeaways:
Authenticity Matters: Striving for honesty in expressing emotions can alleviate internal conflict and foster genuine connections.
Love and Money: Recognizing the interconnectedness of career can reveal underlying desires and blocks that might be impacting both areas. Recognizing these patterns can guide more intentional actions.
Universal Experience of Loneliness: Whether in large workplaces or as solopreneurs, feelings of loneliness are common. Building varied relationships beyond romantic ones can provide necessary emotional support.
Exploring New Opportunities: If experiencing stagnation, consider whether staying in a current role or moving on serves your personal and professional growth. Trusting one’s intuition can guide these decisions.
Ask the Cards:From the Moonology Oracle deck, we drew the Full Moon in Scorpio card. Affirmation: It’s time to release negativity so you can stop living fearfully and start living joyfully.

In today’s episode, Ellen and Mads discuss intuition, ambition, commitment and the nuances of jealousy. It’s a conversation full of practical advice, honest reflections, and some sisterly wisdom on how we can better trust our intuition and embrace our emotions. So listen in and enjoy!
Intuition or Anxiety?Ellen recounts a moment of confusion between anxiety and intuition during her meditation practice. Mads shares how to tell the difference and provides, suggesting that true intuition doesn’t diminish with questioning, whereas anxiety often flares up when the mind is given a moment of rest.
Jealousy as a GuideJealousy is often considered a negative emotion, but the girls discuss it in a different light. They explore personal anecdotes, shedding light on how jealousy can point to what’s missing in one's life. Mads suggests using jealousy as a clue to uncover potential you haven’t fully embraced.
Listener Question: Commitment in Career and RelationshipsThis week's question comes from a generator with gut intuition who is looking for advice on balancing their desire for novelty with the need for long-term commitments. Ellen and Mads dive into how their chart could be playing into this problem. Mads shares that generators typically thrive when they can stick with tasks and build deep expertise over time, so this is a difficult position to be in.
The sisters also discuss the difference between what we naturally desire and what society conditions us to want. They suggest the listener should consider if her craving for newness is inherent or a conditioned response to dissatisfaction.
Key Takeaways
- Discerning Intuition from Anxiety: Learn to distinguish between intuitive feelings and anxious thoughts by observing persistence and clarity of the intuition.
- Balancing Thrills and Stability: If new adventures ignite your spirit, it's okay to seek them out, but balance them with stable commitments that build long-term satisfaction.
- Constructive Use of Jealousy: Reframe jealousy as a guide to uncover unmet desires or untapped potential within oneself.
- Balancing Hustle with Joy: Rather than advocating relentless hustle, Ellen and Mads prioritise finding joy and purpose in your work, leading to sustainable growth and satisfaction.
Ask the Cards:From the Moonology Oracle deck, we drew the Waning Moon card. Affirmation: It’s safe to let go of burdens that no longer serve you and to prepare for new beginnings.

Ellen and Mads are back again to tackle the ever-present question. How can we balance the cosmic parts of our life with the corporate? They start, as always, by sharing the cosmic and corporate aspects of their week which leads to a discussion about financial security, privilege, and responsibility.
Key Takeaways
Work-Life Balance is Essential: Prioritizing self-care and setting boundaries allows individuals to sustainably pursue their professional goals while nurturing their well-being.
Kindness Creates Ripple Effects: The hosts' discussion on acts of kindness underscores the profound impact of compassion and empathy. Small gestures of kindness have ripple effects that extend far beyond the moment of giving, fostering a sense of community and connection
Listen to yourself: For major decisions, wait for a deep, unequivocal feeling in your body rather than acting on fleeting doubts. This ensures clarity and avoids the pain of indecisiveness.
Don’t give in to pressure: Make sure you advocate for yourself and take the time needed to reflect and make thoughtful choices, especially in professional settings.
Listener Question This week’s question comes from a listener who identifies as a cosmic heart and a corporate brain. She asks: “How can I trust my gut when it's giving me conflicting messages?”
Before getting into their response, Mads highlights that she and Ellen are both generators with gut authority. This means that gut instinct is the default way to make decisions for them. The listener is a manifestor and her authority is her emotions, so she experiences things very differently.
Emotions ebb and flow, much like the moon and tides so it’s essential for people with emotional authority to reach a neutral state before making decisions. This approach helps avoid impulsive choices driven by temporary emotional highs or lows. Ellen emphasizes the importance of understanding your own decision-making process, regardless of Human Design.
Ask the Cards: From the Oracle of Portals deck, we drew the card Beyond Fear. Affirmation: The fear is there, but the action is taken anyway.

Today Mads and Ellen have an open discussion about self-discovery, emotional healing, and career navigation. If you’ve been feeling unseen and unheard, or maybe you’re stuck in a career rut, this episode is full of wisdom and vulnerability to help you take those next steps.
The girls discuss the way emotions from our past, which aren’t part of our current reality, can still profoundly affect us. Mads talks about growing up feeling different from her family, which influenced her life choices, such as moving to London and living unconventionally. These feelings initially seemed like a burden but eventually led to personal growth that allowed her to reconnect with her family in a more meaningful way. If you don’t acknowledge and process these emotions, they can weigh you down and define your life.
Listener QuestionThis week the listener question is from someone who wants to leave their job but wants to get a promotion before they do. They’ve just had the promotion pushed back for the second time and aren’t sure what to do.
Ellen and Mads encourage listeners to consider what truly makes them happy and whether their current job aligns with their values and goals. It’s important to trust your intuition and not let external pressures dictate your career path. Most importantly, if the only thing keeping you at a job is the hope of a promotion, it might be time to reassess your priorities and explore other options.
Ask the Cards:Moon in Capricorn: The end of a tough cycle approaches.
This card reminds you that effort is required to achieve or obtain your desires. Work issues may be about to come to a head when this card comes up. If you're wondering if you should stay in a job or leave, this card can be a strong sign to make your exit.
This card also asks you to consider how ambitious you are and whether you're prepared to pull out all the stops to make your professional dreams come true without being ruthless. Finally, this card reminds you to balance your personal and private lives.
Key Takeaways
Career Satisfaction is Multi-faceted: Delays in promotions are often due to organizational factors rather than personal performance. It’s important not to take these delays personally and to understand the broader context.
Proactive Career Management: Start exploring new job opportunities at the first sign of dissatisfaction to ensure a smoother transition. Waiting until desperation hits can make the process more stressful.
The Role of Sadness in Growth: Sometimes we need to carry sadness with us to achieve personal growth. Once its purpose is served, it’s healthy (and important) to let it go and move forward.

Listener Question:This week a listener has written in to ask how to handle setting boundaries with your parents, particularly when they may not fully understand or respect personal needs and preferences. She’s tried multiple times but they just aren’t getting the message and she thinks it would be easier to just lie about her reasons.
Mads and Ellen draw on their personal experiences and how they’ve navigated the difficulties of resetting family relationships. For the best results, you should approach this task with open communication, empathy, and understanding. They also explore the idea of boundaries as a personal commitment rather than a request imposed on others, highlighting the importance of embodying one's truth and self-respect.
